Title Questions
I'm trying to make Titles for various continental groupings. Is there any way that I can have the title only rank fighters from a specific continent? I find it a little time consuming to go through records and see a particular fighter's nationality.
Thanks |

No, currently this is not possible. But I'll add it to the wish list!

Thanks..
And another thing (there may yet be more!), is there a way to look at a Title history (ie; all of the bouts and/or champions of a given title)?
Thanks. |

AE,
There is not yet a "title History" page. Hopefully soon. However, this is how I get only certtain fighters to appear in the ratings. First let me say that I only use 150-175 fighters so what I am suggesting maybe too much work for you if you use them all. This is what I do. 1. I created my own governing body (GROUP page) called Global Championship Boxing. 2. I then created a World Title for that organization on the TITLES page. 3. I then went back to the GROUP page and created 3 different GROUPS that would represent my regional areas. What I did was kind of split the world map into 3 sections. I named my GROUPS: Western Continental, Central Continental, Eastern Continental. 4. NOTE THIS IS THE KEY!!!Once I decided which boxers I was going to use in My Global Championship Boxing organization, I then went in the FIGHTERS page and moved each fighter to the region (GROUP) that their country is in. Example, U.S.A. fighters are in the Western Continental. Russian fighters are in the Eastern Continental etc. **Remember, I did not change the nation they were from. I only clicked on the "groups" button on the FIGHTERS page and added them to their proper group** 5. I then added titles on the TITLES page to represent my different regions. This gives me 4 titles: Global Championship Boxing World Champion Western Continental Champion Central Continental Champion Eastern Continental Champion When I want to view my Global Championship Boxing Ratings, which includes all of my fighter, I go to the TITLES page and click on "G.C.B." and go over to the "groups filter" on the same page and click on "ALL" This gives me ratings of all my fighters with all my titles included in the ratings, which is way cool. If I want to see only the ratings for my Western Continental Title, While still on the TITLES page, I click on my "Western" group then slide over again to the "group filter" and click on "western" and only the fighters that I had moved to that GROUP will appear. It will show my Champ first and then rank all of the figters in the WESTERN GROUP. The same for each group. This works perfectly. Like I said I only use 150-175 fighters, so moving each to his own country/continent group was no problem for me. This also works well if I choose to autoschedule. The autoschedule allows you to fight only one group against it self or allows you to autoschedule "ALL" the groups. If I want only want those who are in the running for the western title to fight each other, thats the only group that I designate in my autoschedule. If I want them to mix it up across continents I choose "ALL" to be autoscheduled. Figuring this out has taken this game to a new level for me! I caN allow all fighters to fight each other and at the same time I can see the ratings for each title without the others added OR I can see the My World Ratings including all of the title holders as well. I hope this helps! Last edited by JohnnyBench; 03-03-2004 at 07:46 AM. |
