The one feature I'd really like to see included in future releases/patches is a better player search. It would be great if from the Player trade window, when you "Player by Ratings", it returns players in the same window as the "free agent" list (where you can sort by stats, ratings, talent, etc.) Right now, it just returns names of players.
It would also be great if you could be able to search for either Righties or Lefties when looking for players by ratings... (easier to find the big lefty bat for your bench heading into August...) |

I agree! I posted a few days about about "Things I'd like to See" and the player search was one of them, but I didn't include some of the thoughts you did. So I'd like to add your ideas to mine!

Yes, I had trouble finding a left handed middle reliever for down the stretch through the search, and when I do manage to find a player, you have to go back to trade and try to find that guy again, instead of trying to get him straight away (a la Baseball Mogel)
What you suggest would be very nice. |

Searching by batting handedness is a natural addition.
It would also be good to include searches with: - fielder's throwing arm rating - fielding percentage as well as range - player consistancy - leadership - clutch performance - injury rating
