Each team (16, 2 lgs, 2 div) will play 10 games against every other team (5 home, 5 away)

Each team 25 players as follows:

5 SP
4 MR
1 CL
2 C
2 1B
2 2B
2 SS
2 3B
5 OF's (you can use 6 OF's and have one less of any position player)

Initially every player will have ratings set to 5or C or normal, etc. Fielding pct will be set to that positions major lg average for the 2002 season.

You will be given 75 "points" which you can use to adjust ratings. 1 pt for each bump (i.e. average from 5 to 6). Bumping a letter rating (i.e. Speed from B to A) will cost 2 pts as will bumping ratings like injuries from normal to durable. Bumping fielding pct will cost 1 pt to increase by 5 pts (i.e. 990 to 995

You can use them on as many or as few of your players as you want. There is a limit of 5 points max for any one player except for one superstar who can have 8.

Season will be simmed 10 times with owners getting pts based on how team fares. Teams will be ranked by season position with best record getting 16, 2nd 15, etc. Bonus pts can also be earned, winning division is worth 2, league championship 4 and world series 8. Season will be reset before each sim.

I'm in, Allen....but here are a few questions:

Do you mean from 5 to 6? Or is it 1 point for every 2 point bump?
What about talents? Will they all be set to Average? Will they increase if we bump the numerical ratings up?
When you say 16 games against each team, do you mean against all 15 teams? That's 240 games per team. You may want to change it to 10 or 12 per team
And how do we send you the teams? Could you give us a format to fill out? It would make it easier on all of us, but on you most of all.

should be 5 to 6

Talent avg, think in rehome play lg (???) neither talent or ratings change. Have a chart somewhere comparing talent to ratings (i.e. Good is 6 to 7) so would set talent accordingly

10 games vs ea team 5 away 5 home

if get enuf interest, which doesn't look good rt now will do a form

Are Metsgeek and I only ones like this idea
