Classic baseball opening

For anyone that wants to go back to the 80's and experience the game of baseball back then, Classic baseball is the place for you.

We are in our 3rd season and the GM of the Phillies has resigned. The Philles are 10 out of first place but they are a strong team (8 games over .500) and have a bright future as well. The GM took REAL good care of his team but just ran out of time, so if anyone wants to bear the possible "fruits of someone else's labor" , this is for you......the best team to get is a team that is already built and has a good future

Like Halofan said, this is a good chance to get into a great league. I was the owner of the Phillies but I am running into a spell where I don't have the time necessary to devote to the league. I did my best to build a solid nucleus with the Phils and I really believe they will compete for some time to come.

This is a great league with a great bunch of guys and they deserve an owner who will be active and competitive.

Good luck to all my friends in Classic - I hope to be back some time down the road. To the new future owner of the Phils - go out there and kick some butt.
