Game Time...

How long has this game lasted you? It lasted about 3 weeks of not to heavy playing. Truth is I don't think this game has what it takes.

About two weeks of light to moderate playing...

For 20 bucks, it was worth the gamble.

For thirty or more dollars, I would have been screaming for a refund.

I gotta agree with you there, great idea with the $20 price tag.

For a first version, this game is more than worth the 20 bucks. And it can only get better.

I got it the first week. Play a couple of times per week. Worth the $20 but definitely can get better. Just finished another season... about my 30th.

Personally, I don't see a second version catching my eye. Untill things like interviews are included in the game I don't think there is enough to do.

I hope that you don't give up on this game, as WE knew OOTP6 must take priority over ITP for now. However we are in the process of gathering info for a patch/update which will be released in a few months. Thanks for your patience.

You know...I can't say that I've given up hope on the game.

In fact, I still play it from time to time...but usually it's when something's on tv, and I'm not going to be using my computer for anything else.

I'll run one of my players, and just tell the game to "finish month" or "finish year" and check on it periodically to see if anything interesting has happened to interrupt the simulation. If my team's made the playoffs, or is on the verge, I'll pay more attention, and go day-by-day.

But I think the biggest problem I've found is that I have no REASON to want to go day-by-day. It's tedious...there's very little in the way of variety and whatnot.

If I have a load of cash, I'll stop and go shopping for gear. If my guy's gotten hurt, I might take him to the bar in hopes of gaining back some of my lost stats, but that gets kinda tedious after a couple of weeks. But I'm just going on a repetitive cycle of clicking a few buttons. I feel no attachment to the player himself.

He's just a collection of stats and a static picture, that's all. I like the idea behind this game. Hell, it's potentially a merger of my favorite two genres, RPG and sports sim. But right now, it's just not enough to keep my attention.

But I'm not giving up hope...I'm hoping that you guys keep pushing forward in this game, whether via patches and such, or a new version next year with mega-improvements. New ideas drive gaming forward, and without being willing to take risks, the entire platform of gaming suffers. Though I'll admit being a bit disappointed in the game, I'll still give it a couple of years of trying, assuming it stays relatively value-priced at $20.

To be honest, I played my last career for a while. I found myself playing it all the time...changing the little things to see where my career would go...But it got to the point where I lost interest.
There are things that I would change...but nothing more than everyone else is asking for...I will maybe play the game again sometime in the future.

Steve & Marcus was a good game...let's build from that. You probably have enough feedback to know how to make the game much better...let's hope it is...because you have to grab us now before we turn our attention to the real spring training and you lose us all for good.

I'm not saying I've given up hope on the game I just think it would need a lot of tuning and upgrading for the second version to be a worthy purchase. To be honest, I'm glad this game will take the backseat to OOTP6.

I stopped playing a long time ago...there isn't much involvement in the game to keep my interest...for 20 bucks, it was worth a shot, but now all my attention is on the release of OOTP 6....
