How do you make your player retire from the league, because i have a guy that is to old to be playing for antoher season and i want him to retire?

You need to not be on a team anymore and then you should have an option to "Decide to Retire"

just happened to me. I was 41, signed to a 350,000 contract and stuck in AAA. Game went a couple weeks and I was released. I then had an option to decide to retire.

Unfortunately, if you are under contract you cannot decide to retire. You'll have to wait until the contract is up, or like Stashu says, wait until you are released.

If you hang on until the contract is up, you'll have to sim to the next season making sure you do not sign with anyone during the FA period. When opening day rolls around you can decide to retire.
