Post learing positions

how do you let players learn new positions. Say i have a stud shortstop prospect in the minors and i want to move him to second base because i already have a good shortstop. Or if i have a older, slow outfielder that i could move to firstbase. I've been playing around with the game but havent figured out how to do it.

If the player is in the minors just bring up the minor league lineup for the level he's at, right click on his name pick the position you want him to learn. That's it... the game will put the message saying the players learning the new position and you'll be notified by email if/when he learns the position.

In the majors you just have to suck it up and play the guy out of position some players will learn the new position some won't, but it will take some time.

During spring traning you can also allocate points to train a player in a new position (it'll cost you five points).

Hope this helps.
