Game will not run
I went to play OOTP4 and clicked on the dhortcut and it acted like it was opening then nothing. I uninstalled re-downloaded and still nothing, updated DirectX drivers. I've gone into the OOTP directory and it will not run from there either. What is weird, to me anyway, is that the demo works fine??? I'm running a PIII 1GHZ w/Windows XP, 256 RAM, 1024X768 Res, 24.2 GB free space. I really would appreciate anyone help on this.

Do a Ctrl+Alt+Del, see if you have any other instances of OOTP4 running... if you do this is a potential cause for the problem, just kill them off.

Might also try a reboot of your system, that can straighten things out at times.

Are other programs running in the background? Are you certain that the "shortcut" is pointing to the actual game executable file?

There are other "processes"running yes I've tried to run from the durectory itself. I installed on a Zip Disk and it would not run either, what I don't get is why the demo runs fine.

I switched to Compatability mode and get the following message. "Sorry,could not get license at this time. Please try running this program later. 23

3 days ago everything was fine. Now the game will not open. I'm sure that I will have to relicense the game since I uninstalled and then reinstalled. I can't even get to the point to submit my license.

You might want to contact <a href="http://www.elicense.com" target="_blank">Via-Tech here</a> and see if they have had any XP issues, or if not might atleast have some ideas as to why it isn't working.
