I'm Sad

I didn't get to play for the Wild Card. Even though I was tied with the two other teams.

I assume 3 way ties aren't supported?

The Teams:

Houston - 87-75 (total) 43-38 (home) 44-37 (away)
Chicago - 88-75 (total+playoff) 43-39 (home+playoff) 45-36 (away)
Atlanta - 87-76 (total+playoff) 42-39 (home) 45-37 (away+playoff)

Nope... it just takes the top two teams in the alphabet. Makes sense, doesn't it?

No 3 ways in OOTP.

Someone suggested a workaround that if you think a 3 way is possible, don't play the last game of the season. Then you could schedule some more conventional 1 on 1 matchups and resolve the 3 way however you wished.

No 3 ways in ITP also.

Nice, I was wondering when you would say something funny.

I'm also sad that the wild card winner is allowed to play the team that won it's division in the 1st round of the playoffs. Hopefully this will be corrected in OOTP6.

Not to go off the subject too far (but hey it has never stopped me before). I really think Major League Baseball has done a piss poor job on their playoff structure. The Divison winner that has the Wild Card in its divison should play the wild card. That way you won't have 2 divison rivals playing for the American League or National League Championship. It is better for them to meet in the earlier round. Just my two cents. I like when OOTP does it that way.

That's why I moved my team to Aachen, Germany.

Boy was the Aarau team from Switzerland pissed off!

Goddamned tearjerker. Look away, I don't want you to see me crying.

This is correct. You can schedule the correct tie-breaking playoff games and OOTP will then handle the playoffs correctly from that point on.

Good thing, I can't imagine the outcry from the "Bible Thumpers" if the game added some of the real priceless perks from being a professional athlete. The additon of alchohol to the game was contraversial enough.

I would feel the game much more complete if it included all night coke binges along with casual sex with multiple groupies on a given day. If something like this was added in a future patch, I would definatly consider purchasing it.

The game would still be lame even with those additional useless perks........

Holy crap, something that OOTP doesn't support? An actual bug? I must be in the TPF forums.
