Ratings Q for Jim
Here is my question, I have noticed that many of the fighters have a pre-set career stage. My question is this, do the ratings they have reflect their abilities in that preset stage? I am particularly interested in fighters like: Frankie Randall, Jorge Paez, Vince Phillips. Ivan Robinson, and Phillip Holiday, but they are all set to post-prime or later and I suspect that their ratings reflect them at the end of fine careers, not necessarily them at the height of their powers. I have seen them fight on a few occasions so I want them in the sim, but I am no expert on their particular strengths and weaknesses so I am hesitant to change anything without a little advice first. Simply put, do I need to adjust their ratings if I want them reflected in their prime?

This is an excellent questions and I'm happy to answer it. Current fighters ratings reflect the pre-set career stage listed. The Career Stage for current fighters is informational only and its purpose is to show that the fighter ratings reflect the ability of the fighter at that stage. You are correct in assuming that the fighters you have listed are either past their prime or at the end of their career. In the case of some, like Frankie Randall, it's a crime that he is still fighting at all. He's been stopped in almost all of his last fights. If you want these fighters to be rated in their prime, you'll have to adjust the ratings or wait for them to retire and be moved to the Retired File.
