Injury Bug

Injury bug. I was pitching in the bottom of the 4th down 3-0 when I got injured. I got the phone call, clicked OK, and then saw the PBP message I was hurt and had to come out. Fine, injured and also looks like another loss, I thought, so I clicked finish game.

Surprise! I pitched through the 7th inning and picked up a win. I was listed as injured “day-to-day” after game was over. I then got a call they were putting me on the disabled list. However, I was still listed as day-to-day. Not sure if it should have said something else or not.

Otherwise, I’m loving this game. It’s the first game that has pried me away from EverQuest for more than an hour or two in literally years!

Yes. This exact thing happened to me. I suffered a blister on my finger in the first inning, was told that I was taken out of the game, and therefore simmed the rest of the eight innings. I was later surprised to find that not only was I not taken out, but I almost pitched a complete game. Since it was a day-to-day injury, I can understand remaining in, but, if that's the case, the play-by-play shouldn't be indicating otherwise.
