This game is still awful

I keep checking in every few months cause the game has so much potential, but i see not much has changed at all. still same old awful game.

Lets get on it! lol I've been playing Newstarsoccer it seems to be more advanced when it comes to the genre of first person career mode play...

but i dont like SOCCER!!! I like Baseball!!! lol

Hey ITP fans

I know, ITP was pretty much in the back seat since the development of OOTP 6 really went into the last stages. Anyway, I have not forgotten about ITP, but it was pretty busy the past months. In the meantime, I have settled into my new position at Sports Interactive, and now, during the evenings, I have some time to take care of ITP. Next up is an update, that will add some nice little features and take care of bugs. I guess it'll be ready during the summer.
I do not know yet when there will be an ITP 2, but I am pretty sure that there will be one in the future. I love the concept, and with a little patience and effort the game has the potential to be something very, very special. So, stay tuned!!

I actually love this game, sure this is much that needs to be improved! and i would love more company interest, but what is, simply is!

doesnt take away from a great game! and I hate baseball

i would love to see a hockey basketball and football version of this game! hell id pay MONTHLY to play such games!

Hey like i stated before in the OOTP forum, once they merged with SIGames, look out. As you may have noticed, since the merger, nothing has been updated but the forum, the games remain the same. Sure there is plenty of talk, but no action.

am i the onlyone that craves other sports like ITP, say ITR or ITGI, or ITS god the ideas are limitles, Baseball first, then hockey, and basketball and football, and soccer and tennis, golf badmitten, volloyball, chess, Air hockey, full contact fighting, think of the money to be made, just put out a version one then spend all yoru time on OOTP7 while you laugh all the way to the bank

btw i seriuosly would pay monthly for a true in depth hockey and football and basketball game like itp, but with support and detph that ipt is far lacking

As I said before, there are Japanese console games like that. As far as I know, there are at least several baseball titles and one soccer title with modes where you can play as an athlete.

They are all kind of action-based, as opposed to stats/text-based ITP.

Since the future of ITP2 is still in doubt, I'd be glad if Markus could just put the current ITP codes into the next version of OOTP, and call it "player mode". It would fit right in if the equipment and bar parts are removed.
