odd thing happened

I was in the bottom of the ninth, playing the Cubs at Wrigley, I was the Pirates.

none on, two outs, tie game.

a 1-2 pitch to Fred McGriff, he swings and misses, and strikes out (according to the pbp)

but low and behold, the inning continues and McGriff is sitting on first.

He ended up reaching third but I got out of the jam and eventually won the game.

why did this happen? I replayted the pbp and it said nothing about catcher interference or a dropped third strike.

I seem to remember this happening to me once or twice with OOTP3.

any thoughts?

The general consenses is (and I believe Steve confirmed this with Markus) that it is a dropped 3rd strike - but it never got into the PbP.
