Post 100% Bug fixed :)

OK, this was not a bug, but bad design. When the game did nothing, it was actually doing something. It wasn't some weird calculations, but rather checking mouse positions, buttons, and the menu etc...
Anyway, I managed to get the CPU usage down to standard windows application level, except for two screens (standings screen and news screen, because of the news ticker that is moving at the bottom of the screen).

The fix will be included in the "big update" :-)

You know, work is more fun when you love what you're doing and you don't have to be there!

Keep up the great work! Thanks!

Hallelujah brother!

There was only one thing more frightening than seeing Sammy Sosa destroying my Starters and that was watching the CPU temperature rising steadily inning by inning.

Well, you've fixed the CPU problem, thanks for that. Now, what about Sosa??

How refreshing to hear a developer say 'Yes, there is a problem and I will fix it' rather than the usual fob off. You've won me for life.

Alright! When can we expect the fix to be available? I tried another baseball sim and was nowhere near as good as OOTP!

Thanks for fixing the 'feature'. It was the most annoying thing about the game for me.

According to the OOTP4 Newsletter #4, the "big update" is due in about two weeks. The Newletter is date 3/17. So, I'm assuming in the beginning of April sometime. I'm hoping the fix corrects the problem in OOTP3 also!

Just wondering since you said Its fixed rather than makeing us wait 2-4 weeks(I'm asumeing here...but you did say a 2 week vacation and giveing you 2 weeks to work on it ) that maybe you could release just this as version C?

I'm sure theres a few of your users who would enjoy this update a lot.
