Logos: Black backgrounds

Are you not supposed to use black backgrounds with logos? I noticed some of the logos I use don't seem to always look right in the game. I went through, looking to see what they have in common. The only thing I can come up with, is that every logo that doesn't look right has a black background.

Anthing that's black seems to change to a 'transparent' look.

Black is the trasnparent color in OOTP. To get rid of it, lighten the logo a little bit, or use an off-black color, such as 8,8,8.

The game interprets r0-g0-b0 (true black) as transparent. If you want a part of your logo to appear as black use an off-black like JE said. Make it r15-g15-b15 to assure it shows in all contexts.

Different graphics cards display different results... all will see 0,0,0 as transparent, some will see 1,1,1 as Black, other will require higher numbers. Mine works with 1,1,1 but trial and error will be required to find the "break point" for you particular graphics card.

If it were easy it would just be the way.
