Not letting me create files/folders.

Trying to set up a historical league. The stats files are in the correct folder, but for some reason I can't really do anything. I get an error message saying "file not created." GRRR. I just DL'd the game yesterday, and I am confused about some of the features, but this is the biggie. It is a great game, but I hate having to play with fictitious characters. Not happy right now. Thanks for any help.

- Did you download the correct version of the Lahman DB? It needs to be the CSV version and they will come in a large ZIP file.

- Did you type the correct path to the folder you unzipped these CSV files to?

I would suggest reading the <a href="http://www.ootpbb.com/board/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic&f=5&t=000007" target="_blank">historical league FAQ</a> again and trying to spot which step might have been missed or changed.

Unfortunately, it's worse than I thought. I cannot even create a league for the 2002 Career League option. I really have no idea what, if anything, I am doing wrong. I am unhappy. Do I need to re-install the game? The .CSV files do appear to be in the right place. Beyond that, I am clueless.

OK, I'm an idiot.

All I had to do was NAME the league. "New league" won't work. All is well.
