Switching computers??? Please help!

I've just got a quick question and it's probably a real easy one to answer...

I have OOTP5 installed on one computer (at my parent's house) and I would like to move it to my house (my computer was broken)...

How would I go about doing this as I downloaded the program so that there is no CD to transfer? Do I just run the install program again and maybe enter the product ID number I was given?

Thanks!

Chris

Man oh man...I've been going through this myself. My computer has been out of commision for about 3 weeks now. I'm in 3 online leagues and I didn't want to drop them but wasn't sure I was going to be able to swing it with no computer. We have 5 computers in the house but mine was the only desktop. My roomates have to travel alot for work and of course take their laptops so I never know which ones will be here. I knew I only had one license left since I lost one on the lost hard drive so I downloaded the OOTP setup and the latest update at the time and burned both to CD. For the past three weeks, I install the game on what ever computer is available....go online and re-license it...download the newest .lg file for which ever online league just updated...make my changes....export them....unlicense my game....and uninstall (just to be nice since it isn't my computer)....what a pain....

So basically as Steve answered with a yes...you can move them to which ever computer you want...just remember you have two licenses....and if you need to move it from one computer to another you should unlicense the game first..DO NOT just uninstall the game...or even worse just delete it...

What I did was, uploaded all the files onto my website. Then, downloaded them to my new computer - and I didn't even have to reenter the ID thing. It was already there.

For HolyCow; If you want to recover your "lost" license, e-mail e-license and ask them to unlicense everything under your product ID. You will then have all three licenses (you will have to put the license back on your main computer).

What he said. Any time I've contacted them, they've been extremely helpful and easy to deal with.

Rallymonkey, you only got 2 licenses with v2 fyi.

Thanks rally...I figured that was possible but have been lazy to some degree, also was thinkiing the customer service would be a hassle but from the sounds of it...they are pretty cordial so I'll do that...I'll have to try their patience a bit as I have some FOF, FOF:TCY, OOTP 5, and TDCB licenses to get back.....
