Almanac Question

I personally love the almanac feature, but after 10 seasons or so the league becomes unbearably large in terms of size. If you were to delete the almanac from the almanac folder, would that prevent you from ever viewing that certain almanac again? Or if you click on the years Almanac, would it regenerate?

I have not tested it but my guess is that it would be gone. Zip it up and put it on a CD or something.
