Schedule Generator Problem

After spending days and hours of playing OOTP5 demo and read through the forums, I finally decide to buy the game.
I just wanted to say this is a real good game overall. Better than
Baseball Mogul.

But I encounter a problem right away. I created a new league with all the existing teams from someone's roster file (can't remember whos it was) and i added a new team in AL west. After siming through 2 months i found that SF's record is 0-0 (They weren't scheduled to play any game). So I reload my game and try to regenerate a new schedule before the season starts, but the game just crashed.
I restarted the game without creating a new team and try the schedule generator and it worked fine ( I tried couple times with the new roster file and also couple times with the original roster file ). So i tried it again with a new season and a new team (Again with and without the new roster file) and the game crashed again. It doesn't matter where the new team is, AL east or NL Central, the game still crashes. Am i making any sence here? English is not my first language so please forgive me if i don't make any sence. I've tried my best to explain my problems.

Can someone help me on this?

The version of the game is 5.14. My computer is 1.9G, 128 ram, geforce mx400 64mb agp card, and at least 50gigs of HDD left. I seriously don't think it's my computer's problem. but i might be wrong.

No "league" can have an odd number of teams unless you want to manually put together a schedule. Check out the thread here for some tips on expanding and adding teams:

Thanks for your help. I got the problem solved.

But just one more question, why is there no interleague play? I tried to generate quite a few times and it still doesn't have interleague play. Do i have to do it manually? or is there any schedule generator i can download from fan site that can generate interleague play?

Thanks for all the help again!!! This is a great baseball sim game!!!!

Do a search for "stickware" and it will allow for interleague.

Be aware, though, that Stickware's editor won't work if you split up the league(s) into 4 divisions.
