Baseball america has nothing but good things to say about the Rays this offseason.. It makes me kind of nervous.

yes- unfortunately, its only about their A ball players. And given that the division has 3 of the best GM's in the game, all of whom work with more money- I wouldn't bet against it.

Here's what I figure
Brazleton has regained his form. He went back to his old windup, he's developed a slider. If he has a good spring he'll start the season in the majors. Gomes will either start the season in the majors and split time at DH with Pete LaForest, or start in AAA ball and get called up to the big club as soon as he's doing well. The most encouraging thing reported to me was that Gomes showed an increased level of plate patients in his time at the AFL It is amazing to me that Upton was rated the #1 prospect out there. I looked at his AFL #'s and they were pretty terrible. He must have been showing off some outstanding skills for them to look past the raw #'s. It looks to me that Upton is a slow starter who takes a little while to adjust and then comes on strong with time. That's exactly what happened last year in A ball and i'm betting that would have happened with enough at bats in the AFL. Upton will be in AA ball this year and most likely finish the year at AAA, or if he's done extremely well we might see a september callup. Delmon Young is an exciting prospect. They say he's already got the raw power and a solid idea of how to hit the other way. He's got a big brother who can help him out, and he showed off big numbers in the AFL. He'll probably start the season in A ball but his move will be quick, expect him to finish the year in AAA.

Who has Cashman gotten that has really surprised you at how smart the move was? Giambi? Contreras? Drew Henson? Of course I am assuming you think Cashman is one of those guys.
