NOBL Fantasy 9
Whoever heard of fantasy baseball based on a sim league? Well, here it is. The rules are simple. You get $22,000,000 to spend on nine players. Eight of the players have to be able to play a different position; the DH is your ninth. Set your line-up and go head-to-head against everyone else to see who can pick the most prolific line-up. Points will be awarded for total bases, runs and rbi. Each stat is worth one point (e.g. Coffelt 2004 stats-> 374TB + 128R + 117RBI = 599 points!). Whichever team has the most points at the end of the season, wins.
The NOBL Fantasy 9 is open to everyone. All you need to do is download the league file and post your roster on the message board. The link to both the league file and the message board can be found at www.nobl.net There is no trading and no injury replacements. We will add those features next season. Restricted Free Agency, Budgeting for Coaching, Scouts and Managers, Total League Finance Restructuring, and now the NOBL Fantasy 9. The NOBL, once again innovating the game. Come give us a look.

I used to do fantasy baseball with an old, old league of mine. It was a fantastic concept, and I wish I had the time to devote to that for the ABL.
I hope this goes very well for you. It's innovative (I just had dollar figures for each of the players in the MLEB, since it used FPS), and looks to be very interesting. If I get the chance, I'll join. By the way, I'm glad the NOBL is still flourishing. I've always enjoyed that league, and wish I had more time to give it another go. -John |

John... thanks for the positives. It takes less than an hour to get the team selected. We're not doing trading or anything complex this season. I wanted to give it a test run and see how things develop.
Glad to hear it has been successful elsewhere. I've wanted to do it for a while, but time was an issue for me as well. Keeping it simple will help keep the time commitment to a minimum. Next year might see drafting, trading, etc. Come on back and see how those Phillies are doing.
