Talents/Ratings question

One of the players in my league took a major talent hit (not unusual), but was is unusual is his subsequent hits in ratings.

Felix Diaz decreases his Home Runs Talent from Good to Average.
Felix Diaz decreases his Walks vs Lefties from 6 to 5.
Felix Diaz decreases his Strikeouts vs Righties from 7 to 6.
Felix Diaz decreases his Overall Strikeouts from 7 to 6.
Felix Diaz decreases his Overall Avoiding Hits from 4 to 3.
Felix Diaz decreases his Walks Talent from Good to Average.
Felix Diaz decreases his Strikeouts vs Lefties from 6 to 5.
Felix Diaz decreases his Avoiding Hits vs Lefties from 4 to 3.
Felix Diaz decreases his Avoiding Hits vs Righties from 5 to 4.
Felix Diaz decreases his Overall Home Runs from 7 to 6.
Felix Diaz decreases his Strikeouts Talent from Good to Average.
Felix Diaz decreases his Avoiding Hits Talent from Average to Fair.
Felix Diaz decreases his Home Runs vs Lefties from 7 to 6.
Felix Diaz decreases his Home Runs vs Righties from 7 to 6.
Felix Diaz decreases his Overall Walks from 6 to 5.
Felix Diaz decreases his Overall Avoiding Runs from 4 to 1.

Has anyone seen something like this?

This happened to Mark Prior in FIBB for me. So much for the #1 overall pick. It sucks, but it happens.

I've also had similar happen to a first rounder, it does happen but I've not seen it to be a frequent event.
