Mfitterer1 Apologizes

I apologize for some of the things that i have recently said in these forums, I have known that I havent been acting to my maturity level but this was done intentionally. I am willing to act my normal self in these threads and when I talk to any of you if you will stop harrassing me when Ipost for a league opening or whenever I post a comment in a thread. Thats all I ask for, and I will be my normal self, if you guys can just fufill that then I know I will be fine and none of these threads or personal bashings will happen again. You can use this post to hold me to my word.

All I want is a 2nd chance, please accept my apology and let me be treated like a normal person again.

I'm certainly willing to "stand down"... but I still STRONGLY believe that any prospective GMs in your league should know about your checkered past... and as such... should be given an ey215-like disclaimer.

They dont need a disclaimer as I am not the head commish, BigWillis is the one running sims and everything, so I am not running the league.

Still, ya gotta expect it. Some members went overboard lately, that's for sure. However, new owners should know about your history so they know what they are getting themselves into. It's part of the "rehabilitation process".

An ey-215 like disclaimer is definately not the worst thing in the world, judging from what's been going on lately.

Just like the registered sex-offender list

As CommishJoe said, it's all about accountability and the rehabilitation process.

Your loving every second of this, and don't think you could convince anyone otherwise.

What are we forgiving you for?

For acting immaturely in response to "harassment"?

In that case, sure, no sweat. However, that doesn't mean that this is going to go away. As several people have no doubt told you by now, the only way people will leave you alone is if you come clean. Admit that you cheated, be sincere and contrite, and this all goes away. You will still be watched very closely, closer than your regular Joe, but you will not be harassed anymore by anyone. Until that happens, this will never, ever, stop unless you stop posting here altogether.

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but basically those are your two choices. Leave or admit you cheated. Well, I guess the third option is to continue trying to get people to leave you alone without admitting it, but I promise you, nothing will change.

I don't think you mean people would leve mfitterer1 alone for anything. Taunting is always fun. It's just holyroller's plot to get a confession out of him.

I don't think the choice is between leaving and admitting something. It's between ignoring the "harassment" or starting a new alias. Admitting he cheated would be a nice gesture, but not much more than that.

1. I have not taunted mfitterer1 and, in fact, we talked recently by IM about me joining his league. In the end I decided that I could not trust him.

2. You may be on to something with me just trying to get a confession. I'm a little tired, as are many people, with the on-going mfitterer show here but I don't think it is going away anytime soon. Him admitting his guilt would be the best solution for all involved, IMO.

I think the evidence clearly indicates that he did cheat in the past. If he does not admit it, no one will ever believe anything he says and people will, as you say taunt him for fun. If he does admit it, I don't think it would be just "a nice gesture", I think people would stop seeing everything he said as just self-serving bs. YMMV.

Some people nice like you would treat him better, while some others would just be given more material to taunt him.

There is absolutely no way for him to be avoid the "cheater" label, admitting or not, being nice or childish. That's why I think his only choices are switch identity or just ignore others.

Personally I don't believing admitting a crime would help to prevent people from committing it again. Being discovered itself is more powerful.

His rank/title/whatever it is called should be changed to 'Cheater'.

I would like to see him admit that he has cheated, as well.

I agree with HR.

You sure you'd leave him alone after that?

I know nobody can resist some car wash once in awhile.

Thats the stuff that i am sick of, and no i didnt cheat and therefore will not admit to cheating,t hats against my morals to take the fall for something just to make something easier. And if i did say i apologized for cheating peopel would just say that i said it to get them off of my back, but it doesnt really matter, I guess all that can be done is that my league gets ran cleanly and goes on to be successful and then people will shut their mouths, thats all I am hoping for.
