Bug in IP Calculation

It's playoff time, so I'm following my team and scrutinizing the box scores. I noticed a discrepancy between what occurred in the game and what's recorded in the OOTP "database" and what the boxscore shows.

I had my closer enter the game in the bottom of the 8th with 2 outs and he closed out the game. He is incorrectly credited with only 1 IP (and the pitching staff as a whole only gets 8.2 IP, not 9). The OOTP database and the boxscore for the game both just show the 1 IP credited.

My first guess about what cause the discrepancy is the DP to end the game, but that's a big guess.
