Looking for historic league to join

I am looking for a good historic league to join. I dont mind taking over a reclamation project. I am looking for something starting any where from the turn of the last century to 1970, however the earlier the better. I dont mind joining a start up league if it has a good base of owners.

Please let me know if anyone has an opening so that I can check it out.

Thanks
Jonathan

I am starting one of my own that will start in 1960. The league will start shortly running sims with the data that I have to make sure that it all is looking good and true to form so far so good I have ran the 1960 season twice as expected Baltimore NY(A) and Pitt are great that year. Pitt made the WS both times and other two mentioned teams were in the WS the representing the AL. Should be ready to go after a few tweaks to make sure it all looks good and get the rules all setup. I have not setup any owners yet but if you are interested let me know and what teams you would be interested in having and I will build a list from that. I am gunning for the end of the month to make sure all looks good based on all the options and etc.

Thanks Jonathan

My 1920's league has it's first vacancy. You can check the site out, link is in the sig.

The New York Yankees are available due to their GM's work schedule not allowing him enough time to play anymore. Great league really, lots of activity from all owners.

That totally what I'm looking for, but your site says there are no vacancies. Let me know.

CCBL has 2 openings

The CCBL just had two teams open up. Check out the web site at http://ccbl.simleagues.com.

We are in the first season of our league, playing in 1930. We are about three-quarters of the way through the season. One of the teams is at the bottom of the NL; the other is leading the pack.

Check out the web site, and contact me if you are interested -- blakeml@georgetown.edu.

MLBIV is a pretty good league if you're still looking for a historical league. I'm not there anymore but I was for awhile and it was a pretty cool league. How are my Texas Rangers doing now a days anyways?

well Jeremy it looks like if you are interested you cuold pick up the Rangers again. They are available along with 6 other teams. Yanks, Red Sox, Mariners, Reds, Cardinals, and the Dodgers.
Thanks for the replies, but I think I found the historic league that I am going to join. http://www.simsites.us/mlb77/MLB21.htm It is a startup league using real players from 1921 all are currently free agents and will be all drafted from the FA pool. There are still opening in this league as well if anyone is interested.
