Er, I think "Pastime" has got an extra E on the end of it in your logo... or is that there on purpose?

Actually, seeing this reminds me that I need to do more experimenting myself... there is something rather nice about the photorealistic style of logo...

I like the color and design. It has a comforting look to it.

You mean it isn't spelled "Pastimee" ?!?!?!

LOL... I did that at work, so let's say I was "rushed" a bit

I think when I get some time, I'm going to play with some of the advance features of these programs... haven't done much in that area yet

I know a bit about them, but there are still plenty I've never really thought about or tried out yet. Just today I was in the bookstore and I came across a book on Photoshop which detailed all sorts of little tips and tricks for making things look great. I was sorely tempted to buy it right on the spot, but I had another similar though larger book at home which I needed to check to see if it included many of the same procedures.

It turns out the book I saw has a fair bit of stuff that is not really covered in the other book I have, or is covered in more detail. I think I just might be buying that book...

Sometimes, if I have enough time (and if I go with my dad, we can truly spend hours at a bookstore), then I'll actually go in with a pen and notepad, and skim through the most interesting section(s) of the book, and take notes.

Heheh, I thought of doing that, but there are just too many useful things in that book I saw.

Yes, computer books can be expensive. But if you want overpriced, just check out kids' books. Now THAT'S overpriced.

Of course, one quick way to tell if a book is going to be expensive is to just look through it for any colour photos or full colour artwork. If you see that, that means you're talking about the 4-colour printing process, and that's expensive. Thus, the book is probably going to be expensive too.

If, on the other hand, the book has only one colour in addition to black, and the artwork and photos are only in grayscale, then that book is probably not going to be that expensive.

Just a little tip.

That's one way, but another way to tell if the book is expensive is to look at the price tag.

Sure, if you want to take the easy way out, go ahead.
