Exclamation Hickory Baseball League opening!

Everyone,

The Detroit Tigers are now available in the HBL and are, most likely, going to make the postseason. The Front Office is now in control of the team and would like to find an enthusiastic owner ASAP.

HBL: http://www.hblbaseball.com

HBL Tigers: http://bosi.jpbaseball.com/team_page.php?tid=778

HBL Standings: http://bosi.jpbaseball.com/standings.php?lid=1

The league is run by 2 commissioners, myself and Qrashman. We also receive help from the remainder of the Front Office, including league presidents and our man-behind-the-scene, Joe Winarske (founder of the famed XBL).

If you're interested, please send an e-mail to our league e-mail address: hbl_ootp@yahoo.com

Thanks!
-Matt

Thanks, Potato. Qrash (co-commish) is gone for the weekend, but when he gets back we'll discuss your application.

If anyone else has interest in the HBL, please submit your info to:

hbl_ootp@yahoo.com

Thanks!

As a commish myself, I am very impressed by the setup of your league.

If I knew I would have more time I certainly would submit my application...

Keep up the good work!

Matt

Great site.

Can anyone identify the font used on the HBL site at the top right stating, "This site is best viewed..........."?

Can anyone identifying this font point me to its download?

I can't seem to find it anywhere and have been searching for quite a while now.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, I'd already tried looking at the code for the page, but since its a gif file, no font is listed.

Anyone else?

Maybe a HBL official?

That's got to be one of the best looking leagues sites I have ever seen. Good job to whom ever wrote it. Awesome job.

Mark,

I apologize for the delay but I haven't checked the forums for a few days.

Anyway, the font you would be looking for is called hooge. There are a few different versions out there -- the one I currently use is called hooge 05_55.

Like you, I had an extremely tough time finding it when I was designing the HBL site. If you can't find it, I can throw the zip up on my site and let you grab it.

Let me know.

Tito,

I'm pretty sure we're still looking over applicants, so if you're at all interested, fire an e-mail to the league e-mail address that is listed in the initial post.

Thanks!
