Post Lookin to Learn how to commish a OOTP4 League

Anyone looking for a league,
I'd be glad to start one, just dont know how.

.......not the best way to get owners, I'd say.

Best thing to do is join a few leagues, get your feet wet, and above all, watch what your commish does and HOW he does it.

LOTS of great Commish's around. I'd join one of their leagues and just be attentive.

I agree completely. If I had have just dove in, my league would have failed almost immediately. But before i decided to make a league, I learned from a Mogul commish who I became friends with how to deal with owners... run the cycle... everything necessary. Since than, him and I kinda push each other which ends up making both of our leagues better. Now, it sounds egotistical, but I'm a good commish. I spend a lot of time trying to make my league work, but I never could have done it if I hadn't have essentially been an apprentice first.

I will echo the statements above. If I hadn't been in the XBL, our league wouldn't even be around, let alone be worth being in. You'll notice things that are done well and things that you would do different. There's no sense in reinventing the wheel.
