Impressive 3 game stretch for a starter
Here's the best 3 games in a row I've ever seen by a starting pitcher:
Code:
Date IP H R ER BB SO 08/02 9 0 0 0 1 13 08/06 10 4 3 3 3 15 08/10 9 0 0 0 1 11 Total 28 4 3 3 5 39 |

After multiple edits, I finally got it looking ok. I ended up doing it by pressing the Code button on the "Post Reply" screen (can't do it by typing your reply into the reply section at the bottom of the thread, have to press Post Reply button), then typing any old text into the "Enter Code" window. When you're done, paste the text you want monospaced between the CODE] and [/CODE statements.
Nice string of games Zito had there for you. |

The easiest way, for me, to get things to line up nicely involves a couple of steps.
First, I use notepad to put in the information. Notepad uses a fixed width font and that makes it easy to see that everything lines up nicely. Once that's done, I copy what I want to paste, and then use the code tags. So it would looke something like this: [cade] Date IP H ER BB SO [/cade] Replace cade with code, and the result is this: Code:
Date IP H ER BB SO |

Did he pitch the 4 no-hitters during the last year of his contract? That's a great way to bump up the salary.

OK, so it's not as impressive as some of your guys' numbers, but as I am trying to rebuild the Pirates, the declining and very exspensive Brian Giles (along with Chad Bradford, Todd Walker & Matt Guerrier to try and help their race for the postseason) was shipped to Colorado, where he could maybe re-generate his career numbers, for SP Shaw Chacon, SP Chin-Hui Tsao, 3B Garrett Atkins, and LF Matt Holliday. Struggling LHP Jung Bong is demoted to Triple A, as Tsao and Chacon go straight to the rotation. LF Matt Holliday gets called up and replaces Brian Giles. So anyways, Shawn Chacon was 0-7 with an ERA in the 7's; then he left Colorado.

Current Brewers prospect Mike Jones was called up first during the 2006 season, where he pitched only one inning. He was called up again in 2007 and started two games before a season-ending injury. In 2008, he made 6 major league starts, going 1-2 with a 7.75 ERA before being sent back down to AAA.
In early 2009, he was called up one more time to replace one of my injured starters in the rotation. He didn't give up a run until his 4th start, and finished the season 14-3 with a 2.03 ERA, and was a big part of our World Series win, going 3-0 with a 1.14 ERA in the playoffs. edit: seems that I have another awesome quasi-rookie pitcher in 2011. His last four starts look like: Code:
