Transfering from OOTP4-OOTP5 rating changes

Hey guys! We just switched programs and one GM noticed some of his prospects went from being rated top 10 to 70's and have different ratings, is this something that should be expected???

I did see a change in ratings for all players when I imported, but I didn't pay a whole lot of attention to it.

If you are using Coaches and Scouts, then that's the answer. The scout evaluation system changed between the versions. The underlying player ratings did NOT change, only the scouts evaluation of them did.

I was told before I switched that there would be some ratings changes, but I saw very little. I didn't look much at prospects in particular.

Without coaches and scouts, there shouldn't be any ratings changes. Our league made the switch and didn't have any changes in ratings at all.

As for the prospect changing position on the top 100 chart, that is due to the new valuation system.
