Its kinda funny but we've seen alot of people complaining about the level of competition that Rocky Marciano fought....

Looking at Lewis's record at Boxing Records Archive....he really hasn't had any true competition....I know some people will say Holyfield but he wasn't prime Holyfield. He's fought some good fighters but nobody who was truly great. At least thats my opinion.

A weak champion in my book.

You can hate the man like me but dont EVER SAY HE DIDN'T FIGHT NOONE! he fought holyfield he bruno he beat mike tyson ass he beated grant ass1 reddick bowe reather give his belt up then fight this man he fought everybody who people said could beat him david tua the list goes on! marciano did not fight all the number 1 contenders and he was in a bad era of boxing! look at is body you realy think he can beat ali? lennox fough everyone that people said he could not beat dont just be spittin mess out!

But he will always be a punk in my books for fighting once a freakin years! i wish he would retire already he got boxing in a bad hold because no one wants him to be champion! once he leave you will see all types of names apear!

Lennox Lewis suck, he is a joke he beat up on an old Mike Tyson he got knocked out by two average HWs he was beaten by Holyfeild and was saved his last fight, Grant is a joke why would you even add his name to the list, Riddick Bowe would have wiped the floor with Lewis.....

I don't know....Lewis didn't fight Holyfield nor Tyson in their prime. All the others to me are good fighters but nothing more. There are alot of good fighters in HW but no great ones. In my mind this is a very mediocre period for heavyweights.

Its not Lewis's fault the competition is thin but fight the Klitchko's and continue to try to build a real legacy.

I don't think of Lewis as being a top-flight HW champion...I wish I could but I just can't.

did you guys watch rocky three? thats how rocky is he did beat good fighter but most was bums but you know what white people are going to make there fighters great nd black people mexicans too. so wat can i say im just for whos the best no matter race but i think rocky is a great fighter and i think lewis is a great champ!

You can take tat away from him he beated everyone he fighted! even when he lost he beated themthrough rematch! so in a way he has not been beatin either. Rocky fough in a bad era JIM is the first one to admitt that if you go back to that era you will see! and he retired before the sonny listons and mattersons came out.
Those fighter you name records wasn't that good BUT they was tough fighters!

So Louis, Moore and Walcott and Charles were just tough fighters not great?

And before you say they were not in there prime, what was Tyson in when he fought Lewis what about Holyfeild? Holyfield had been in three brutal wars with Bowe before he fought Tyson or Lewis, Wars take years from a fighter how many wars was Lewis in before Holyfield, you need to do a tad bit more homework beofre trying to rate the older fighters, you claim Michael Grant is a great niche to have under your belt but yet you claim Marciano fought bums.......
