The Baseball Player Thread
Okay, this is like AA's actor/actress thread in OT, but for baseball players. I'll start by naming a baseball player, then you name a baseball player who played with that player on a team, along with the team they played on. Example:
Len Dykstra played with Darryl Strawberry on the 1986 Mets. Darryl Strawberry played with Derek Jeter on the 1999 Yankees. Etc. So I'll start it out with the name of the best one-plate-appearance player of all time: Eddie Gaedel.

Eddie Gaedel and Sherm Lollar --St. Louis Browns 1951
I love this idea. Now I'll be able to enrich my paltry post count. I'll be a Hall of Famer in no time at all. Good work ctorg. |
