The Baseball Player Thread

Okay, this is like AA's actor/actress thread in OT, but for baseball players. I'll start by naming a baseball player, then you name a baseball player who played with that player on a team, along with the team they played on. Example:

Len Dykstra played with Darryl Strawberry on the 1986 Mets.

Darryl Strawberry played with Derek Jeter on the 1999 Yankees.

Etc.

So I'll start it out with the name of the best one-plate-appearance player of all time:

Eddie Gaedel.

I love this idea. Now I'll be able to enrich my paltry post count.

I'll be a Hall of Famer in no time at all.

Good work ctorg.

Yeah, I loved the actor/actress one, and realized that you could do one for a variety of other kinds of things, some of them on topic.

IMO we are best off abandoning that sinking ship that is Off Topic to the rats infesting it and just starting a whole new Baseball Forum from scratch.
