PCL Database?
I'm running a historical sim and in 1953, I would like to merge the Major Leagues with the Pacific Coast League.
I was curious to know if anyone has made a database for the old PCL. It's a longshot I know, but worth a shot. If not, does anyone know where I can find rosters and stats from that era? EDIT: Found a good book.

I would love a PCL database, too. But I don't think one exists.
I acutally have that book on order with the public library. I also found a couple sites that have downloads of season for Diamond Mind, Strat-O-Matic and APBA: http://pw1.netcom.com/~ctpart/player.htm http://www.diamond-mind.com/products/exchange.htm http://www.geocities.com/somminor/somdwnld.html If anybody could extract the source data from these, it'd be a nice place to start. The Diamond Mind guy, in particular, has season disks for 1950-1957. Darned if I can decrypt 'em, though. --Eriq. |
