Ok, I'm trying to sim over 150 years in a fictional league and I've never simmed multiple years before so I have some questions.

1) What things can I turn off that won't affect the history of the game later on but that I don't need for simming. I turned off coaches and scouts but is there anything else I can turn off.

2) I started a custom league starting in 1850 with fictional players and yet every year it keeps on asking me if I would like to import real rookies. I don't get it, is there something I could do to stop this cause it won't sim all the way through multiple years without stopping cause it always asks me every year.

No. If you want to use the multseason sim option, you need to start your league after 2003.

One thing you should turn off is your screen saver. I have had problems with the game crashing when simming that many seasons all at once. I remember reading somewhere that those issues involved screen savers. Remember to backup your league file often as well.
