No free agency without disable finances

Is it conceivably possible to disable free agency without disabling financials? I'm running an historical sim and would like salary issues, but no free agency. Is this possible, or will it ever be possible? Also, does anyone know anything about the status of work on the financial coefficients?

Unfortunately, OOTP does not have this capability. It's either all or nothing.

I've suggested a number of times now the option of "reserve clause era" financials which would do what you've asked, namely turn free agency off but still leave the other financials running. You would have to add in the possibility of player hold-outs however, since that would be a good player's only negotiating tool if they think they deserve a better contract than what you're offering.

The idea of player holdouts would be awesome!! Even without the idea of the financial coefficients or whatever. Holdouts would be great!!
