The OOTP 5 demo is finally posted over at download.com... the problem is that they did reset the user ratings when they updated it. If you like, please go there and post your opinions about the game!

PS: I'll have the OOTP 5.12 patch done this week, since I'll be out of town from July 6th to 20th!

5.12 will fix some stuff that was introduced in 5.11, like some problem with the depth chart logic...

Hey Markus I have to leave town on Wednesday (night). Any chance you could get that patch done by Wednesday afternoon?

You see I will be taking my laptop with me, the wife thinks I have to do some work on it (cannot imagine where she got that idea). I may be able to dl th epatch in Cali but I am not sure, so it would really be helpful if the patch was done by Wednesday, say about 4pm PST.

Yes this is a tongue in cheek request but, well you know anything you could do to make the drive down a little more interesting

I don't think this new patch is going to have anything in the way of groundbreaking new features... so you should be okay playing v. 5.11

Another patch? Crazy awesome. Hey, what are the chances of an update on the status of a beefed up spring training and the financial coefficient?

Markus - I have to express my displeasure upon hearing the news that you are going to provide yet another patch. Where will this all end?

As it is now, I am up way to late every night playing OOTP5. If you add any more improvements I may just quit my job and assume the position I was born for - Coach and General Manager of my Fictional Baseball team.

Sure that sounds like a great idea but I'm thinking my wife and kids will not see this the same way I do. Crazy as this sounds, I think my wife might actually be angry that I quit my job to devote more time to my team.

What ever happened to pursuing a dream in this world of ours?

Anyway Markus - It would certainly help me hold on to my flimsy grasp on reality if you could stop improving what is already the BEST baseball game known to mankind.

Ok - gotta go - Ive got a four game series against my arch rivals from New York beginning tonight and Ive got numbers to CRUNCH.....
