Problem Switching Computers
Hey there everyone, I have a big problem here. I started a new season last night on my home computer. I'm leaving on a trip today and wanted to take the game along with me on my laptop, so I burned a copy of my .lg folder to a CD. Now, this morning, I've copied the .lg file over to my laptop, but whenever I try and load it up, it crashes the OOTP5 program!!! Has anyone else had this happen?
My home computer is running Windows XP, and my laptop has Windows 2000. Is this causing the problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

You might want to check to see that the league folder and files aren't set to read-only attribute.

This is exactly the problem. When you burned the league folder to CD it set everything to read only. Highlight the folder and all files and change them so that they aren't read only.
It should then work. |
