New Skins not showing in the game

I downloaded the two extra skins from 400 software & I unzipped them into the Graphics folder under OOTP, but when I go into the setup screen of the game & try to pick a skin, only the default three are listed.

I looked at all of the Skins problems on the message board, but I didn't find any that helped. When you look under my OOTP5 folder there is the Graphics folder & under that is a folder for each skin (Blue Green.skn, etc.). Each of the five skins have a folder & in each folder they have their respective files.

If it matters, here are my specs for my PC:

AMD K6-III 450 MHz
Win98 SE
128 MB RAM
Voodoo 3 Video Card (Latest drivers applied)
C-Media Sound (built-in on Motherboard - Latest drivers applied)
OOTP 5.11 (Latest version)

They are not properly installed, you need to look inside of the graphics folder, find them(probably "inside" of another folder) and place them in the proper place.

Under my graphics folder are the three original skins folders (i.e. Wood Maple.skn, etc.) as well as the two new skins folders (Wood Cherry.skn & 400 Software.skn - I'm at work I may have them named incorrectly).

So there are five folders under my Graphics folder all with the folder name format of 'Skin Name.skn'. If the new skins folders are in them same location as the original skin folders, what do I change?

The new skins folders have a bunch of files in them just as the original skins folders.

If they are in the same format as the others then they should work, I have quite a few in mine and all show up and work correctly. Check when you get home and let me know.

Will do. I'll even attach a screen shot of my explorer folder layout so you don't think I'm crazy... or maybe it will show that I am crazy.

FYI, if the ".skn" extension is missing from the folder name then they won't show up.

Does OOTP5 look at the Graphics folder upon start-up of the game & then list the folders it locates with a *.skn folder name as the skins available?

I am just at a loss as to why the game will not let me see any other skins.

There aren't any config files that need to be changed are there?

You might just try deleting them and d/l the again and see if that helps, I really don't know why they aren't showing up. You didn't save them to a CD then install them did you?
