This league has a backstory from 1871-1900. We are now moving towards our fourth season (1903's offseason), with the American League and National League having merged into one grand association. Thus far, the Boston Americans (x2) and New York Giants have each won titles.

Pittsburgh Pirates

Budget: $77,000 (11th of 16)
Payroll: $16,164 (16th of 16)
With a mid-range budget but the lowest payroll the Pirates actually have the most money available currently as we enter Free Agency. There is a horde of 250 talented FAs on the market. \

Cleveland Naps

Budget: $65,000 (14th of 16)
Payroll: $18,900 (13th of 16)
Cleveland made the World Series in the league's second year. They have a stable amount of talent but have been drifting with a GM that was only semi-engaged. Likewise, they have plenty of cash to vastly improve in the FA market.
Best Player: SS Jimmy Maher - 7.3 WAR last - 128 wRC+ and +22 ZR at SS.

Chicago Cubs

Payroll: $16,542 (15th of 16)
Second only to Pittsburgh in spending money, Cubs are primed to improve quickly and easily with a focused GM.

We are now in Spring Training for the 1904 season.

Naps, Pirates, and Cubs not in a great spot in the predictions, but that is merely because they were inactive over the offseason.

Cubs in particular have a great farm system.

The teams are the top three in available cash. (Cubs #1)

We plan to convert to OOTP27 at the conclusion of the 1904 season.
