ok... need some guidance...
Something is "wrong" that I never ran into before...
I created a simple 12 team - 2 subleagues organization (fictional) and set all the teams to AI control. The game filled the rosters with 6 pitchers and 19 position players (see pic #1). it chose 5 starters, 1 RP, 3 C, 3 1B, 3 2B, 3 3B, 1 SS, 2 LF, 2 CF, and 3 RF for all 12 teams. Even though there are players on the reserve list, any attempt to ask the AI to setup the complete team - lineups, etc. is ignored. I don't remember this ever happening before - any ideas? |

There should be a setting where you can say how many position players and relief pitchers you can have on the active roster.

Thanks guys... it turned out when I used the shortcut league creation option, the game assumed a DH league and set those strange numbers (wrong template?). I dumped everyone to free agent list, turned off DH and reset the roster numbers and refilling the teams with new players fixed it.
Thanks again. |
