Set up Battle of NY League with teams from 1927 - 2015

I cannot figure out how to do that. I do not want to draft teams. I want to just create a 16 team league with, for example:

1927 Yankees
1955 Dodgers
1962 SF Giants
1986 Mets , etc.

I do not see any way to do this. Thanks.

Create a league and then you'll have to import all the teams you want into divisions. Believe its in league settings.

Google Gemini is getting pretty good at pulling stuff from the forum into summary answers. Here is its how-to:

To import historical teams in OOTP, navigate to Game Settings > League Settings > Edit League Structure and select "Import Historical Team". Select the historical database, choose the specific year and team, and click confirm to add them to your league. You can also choose to import players with their real stats or normalize them to a neutral era.

It also gave a video link to OOTP21 but the process is the same now as then...

Hope it helps.

You can use a text file to mass import players after you set up the league. Read Importing Historical Players section. Here's an example. You can add the destination team. I haven't done this in many years. I found that it was best to do one team at a time. Search the past forums. I added information along with others. The info is still relevant. Try searching on my name or "import historical players".

create a text file = orioles.txt (whatever name you want) then import historical player.
