MLB regular season scheduling Issue in my save

I don't know how to include screenshots on here but my MLB schedule for a few years has caused teams to play 150/151 games. I have tried deleting and regenerating the schedule. I disabled rainouts. Changed the number of games to something other than 162 generated a schedule and then went back to 162 and regenerated but that did not work. If there is an email I can send screenshots or other info.

Did you change the structure of the league in some way?

If you used the in game schedule generator and have it set to an unbalanaced schedule and/or interleague turned on (which I assume so since you said MLB) this will happen as the generator can't handle anything other than balanced schedules.

If you didn't mess with the structure as David asked above, you could just reimport the actual schedule, or if you did change the structure look the schedules forum for schedules that would work.

So would enabling the "balanced schedule format" fix the issue, pressing the load default schedule work, or would I have to import a schedule to get it back to 162? and if so will this be an every year thing or a one time fix will have it stay at 162?

Do you still have 15 teams in the American League and 15 teams in the National League? If so, did you turn off interleague play? 15 team subleagues pretty much require the use of interlleague play.

Knowing how your league is structured would go a long way in allowing us to answer your questions.

Not a bug. OOTP's schedule generator cannot generate interleague games, so teams have a bye every fifteenth series.

You should just be able to import the default 2026 schedule and unless you change structure or generate a new schedule it will stick.

I loaded the default schedule and it worked. So it should generate 162 for the future years schedules right?
