GTAltman Major Leagues Join Date: Oct 2012 Location: South Carolina Posts: 351	Player Option Voided, Waived, Auto Renewed with New Team We had a player who declined his player option and wanted to head to free agency. To free up his his estimated cost on the salary tab, the original team (cologne in this case) placed him on waivers. Salem claimed him on waivers, and when Free Agency finally hit, the player (Castro) was automatically renewed. IF this was a claim and sign it would have said extension, vs auto renewed and why I believe we have a bug in the sequencing.
