Backup File
I got a new laptop today and want to transfer my OOTP 27 save file from my old laptop to my new laptop. I backed up my save file in OOTP 27. However, I cannot find the backup folder in my file explorer. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can transfer the save file?

Try just going to the saved_games folder in the old laptop and copying the .lg folder in its entirety and putting it in the new saved_games folder. Then go to Load Game and see if it is there. That .lg file should hold everything.

Not sure if it helps, but I'm a Mac user and I often move save files between my desktop and laptop via iCloud. Dragging and dropping doesn't work; you have to copy and paste into the correct folder to make sure the entire content of the save file transfers over.
