Anyone else seeing this
I posted about this in the bug forum, but I'm not sure if it will be seen as a bug. Was wondering if any of you that aren't playing modern day have had this happen yet.
I was messing around with a 1901 deadball league. Watching games like I always do, I selected a game in which Christy Matthewson was slated to pitch. Watched the game and Matthewson didn't disappoint, tossing a complete game for the win. Continuing on to the next game in the series, I'm surprised to see that Matthewson is once again slotted in as his teams starting pitcher. I check Matthewson and he is listed as 100% rested. I watch the game. Matthewson once again throws a complete game. A couple weeks later I see this same thing happen involving Matthewson
1946 random debut league. This time it's Lefty Grove. Friday night, first game of 4 game series. Grove starts and picks up his 10th win, going 9 innings. We move to Sunday which features a doubleheader to conclude the series. Grove gets the starter for game 2 of the doubleheader. He like Matthewson is listed as 100% rested. He throws 8 innings for his 11th win making him 11-0 on the season.
Same season, this time it's Pedro Martinez. Game one of the series is on Monday. Martinez starts that game. Doubleheader on Wednesday. Martinez starts game 2, 100% rested.
I've always loved the start the highest feature, but I've never seen the game operate this way when using it.
