Outfielder's assists
In the base game - So far I have had about 80 percent of baserunners that I have had try to score thrown out. I had four runners thrown out at home in one game - including once by an outfielder with a 35 arm.
I think part of the problem is the position of the outfielders when determining if to send a runner. It just happened a bit ago that he left-fielder was at the wall and threw a perfect strike to the catcher all the way in the air like Bo Jackson. My advice to anyone playing the base game - DO NOT SEND BASERUNNERS ON HITS TO THE OUTFIELD. The game is great. Thanks for listening. |

My advice is to turn off the popups and let the AI base coaches make the call. You're the manager and in the dugout. From there my understanding from reading many posts (since I don't make these decisions) is you only get the choice if a play is likely to be close. IE the game is literally telling you "you're taking a chance".
Not criticizing anyone that uses this feature. It's your game, play it your way. I do think you should let your paid base coaches do their job, with the bonus it can alleviate a lot of frustration.
