I remember downloading special league templates or mods many years ago. Like franchise all stars and some others.

Is this still available for OOTP27 somewhere?

there was one I remember that I'd love to have again, it was a tournament style save, with the best players from each franchise. It was during covid I think, Topps and their bunt card collecting app even had a set based on this quickstart
