Thinking of upgrading

If this is in the wrong place, I apologize, but I'm not sure where it should be. I'm considering upgrading (currently playing 2024), but have questions about upgrades:

1) Has there been any action on having a confirmation on intentional walks? This is the single most bothersome pseudo bug of the game. Four and five are right next to each other on the keyboard and it's absurd how often I go to throw to first and walk the batter. A simple confirmation like the one used for a running advancing on a throw seems like a reasonable solution. I post my questions in 2024 forum, typically, b/c that's the version I'm playing, but there doesn't seem to be much action over there (something I hadn't realized until someone pointed it out to me). I can't be the only person having an issue with that.

2) Does the manager get any better control over 3-0 swings in single-pitch mode in later versions?

3) What are the best reasons to upgrade (in terms of the functionality)?

Any input appreciated.
