Here we are again, international games interfering with the game!

It's the start of the season in 1974, Oct 4, I can't put my regular players. They, the players, have the yellow tag, INT, on them, and I can't put them in the line-up. I have asked before and I will ask again can we turn off this feature or make this part of the game not part of the pre-season/regular season. In addition, I had not one player have a development bump. I am not sure that had international games had anything to do with it but this never happened before. In addition, I have redo the line-up every time this tournament comes around and send the minor league players down again. It is a pain since I do not even follow the tournament. Just put a button to dismiss it, probably most players won't miss it.
Bottom line is I can't start my players. I notice that Summit Series is playing at the same time as the NHL regular season which makes no sense. CHANGE IT!

I think the game is broken! It's Oct 13, and the regular players are still playing in the stupid tournament. 5 regular season games have been played. Absurd! Don't tell me that's how it played out in the 74-75. Because you have players who played the whole season such as Bobby Orr who most likely played in that season. You didn't have great players missing 5 games because of the summit. Fix IT!

I understand your frustration but as I wrote in other places: Unfortunately the historical mode is mostly Jeffs thing. I hope he shows up at some point and let us know what is wrong there so we can fix it (or explains why it is correct the way it is in the game).

beatle, what league are you in? The NHL? Or are you playing in the WHA?

I'm assuming it's the NHL, because if that's the case, then I'm pretty sure something isn't triggering correctly because the '74 Summit Series was WHA only and I think that's supposed to be replicated. The WHA starts mid-October, which may be why the players aren't back yet.

However, I will say I'm not sure why you're struggling to dress a lineup. You should have 35+ players on your team you can dress between your current lineup and minor leagues. Are you running too skeleton of a team? Regardless, you can use the assistant to dress for non-important pre-season games. I would also inquire whether or not your are using the SAVE your lineup feature for when your players return from international games to quickly put your roster the way you want.
