Ya, but is it worth a cup o' coffee?

All the work put into all the mods over the years ought to be worth a cup of coffee? I ask because recently I visited a modder's app page which had a tip jar and the jar was yet empty. I realize mods are a labor of love and that often people just don't think about token gratuities vs being cheap or unwilling.


OOTP forum mods: make a sticky that makes mod users aware that some modders have tip jars, something like - IF YOU FOUND THE MOD USEFUL SAY THANKS! WITH A CUP O' COFFEE.

Ideally it would be great if many of the popular mods were integrated into a mega suite of DLC.able to be purchased.


I recall many years and lost hair follicles ago, purchasing a suite of community made mods for SimCity2000.

I'm not opposed to modders saying "donations are appreciated" either in a link in their posts or directly in the thread if that doesn't break forum rules.

As to OOTP officially promoting it in a sticky? My guess is their lawyers would say "no". But I'm not a lawyer and they are free to do so, with my blessing, if they want to.

For sure I would if I knew it existed. As a purely historical player, the stadium mod has changed my gaming life when it comes to OOTP.
